Riverboarding bifins for distances from 1500 meters and beyond. They are available in 6 different stiffnesses. The longer the distance, the more flexibility will be sought. E glass fiber will give you a much higher yield than a plastic swimfin. On our Riverboarding blades you'll have specific water rails that protect the blade without reducing its flexibility and hydrodynamics. You can choose a branded closed-heel footpocket or a custom-made open-heel footpocket. This one frees the rotation of the ankle in all directions and thus increases the finning's amplitude and the efficiency thanks to a more precise foot positioning on the blade. Finally, it facilitates direction changes. It takes a little time to get used to it.

These fins are recommended for mid (1,500 to 5,000 m), long (5,000 to 10,000 m) and very long distances (10,000 m and beyond). As the distance increases, flexibility with low amplitude and high frequency should be preferred. To choose the right stiffness, it is also important to take into account your body size and your level of practice. Compared to a plastic blade, fiberglass will provide you a better propulsion and less fatigue. To choose well, use our help: 'which model and which stiffness for me?'.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE :

Your fibreglass or carbon blade can break : 

  •  If the fin is stuck (the end of the fin is stuck, all the weight is on the blade and it cannot bend) => Do not push off with the blade on the bottom, the side of the pool or on the bottom of the water
  • If you jump into the water with the blade parallel to the water.
