Rescue & lifesaving bifins 640 mm length E glass fiber
Lifesaving & rescue bifins for distances from 50 to 1500 meters. Flexibility will be preferred when the distance increases. For a same stiffness index, a short blade will be more rigid than a longer one. These fins are therefore only available in 3 stiffnesses. E glass fiber will give you a much higher yield than a plastic swimfin. On our Lifesaving & rescue blades you'll have specific water rails that protect the blade without reducing its flexibility and hydrodynamics. You can choose a branded closed-heel footpocket or a custom-made open-heel footpocket. This one frees the rotation of the ankle in all directions and thus increases the finning's amplitude and the efficiency thanks to a more precise foot positioning on the blade . Finally, it facilitates direction changes. It takes a little time to get used to it.
These fins are recommended for sprint events where their power makes the difference. To choose the right hardness, it is also important to take into account its size and level of practice. Compared to a plastic blade, glass fiber will give you better propulsion and less fatigue. Technically, during the turn, do not push off with the blade but with the foot. To choose well, use our help: 'which model and which stiffness for me?'.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE :
Your fibreglass or carbon blade can break :
- If the fin is stuck (the end of the fin is stuck, all the weight is on the blade and it cannot bend) => Do not push off with the blade on the bottom, the side of the pool or on the bottom of the water
- If you jump into the water with the blade parallel to the water.
