Constant weight wing monofin 600 mm length C8 carbon
Wing monofin. It benefits from our latest improvements for a full efficient and fluid undulation. C8 carbon blade with AST structure, nautical NACA profile wings and A 240 daggerboards on the blade. It is a monofin with zero buoyancy. To reduce ankle strain and improve hydrodynamics, the custom open-heeled shoe features a 3D-printed sole that elevates the foot by 25° from the blade. These improvements have reduced the weight by 1.4 kg compared to the previous version.
A monofin dedicated to performance. Its larger blade develops more power. It enables the most efficient and fluid undulation. The C8 carbon offers the best energy return of our range and makes this fin extremely efficient. Its efficiency is 5 to 6% higher than carbon C5. It allows to store and to restore the energy transmitted to the blade during the bending in the most efficient way. The wings naturally give it rigidity, so stiffness grades are limited to 3. A hard monofin gives more power but consumes more energy. The stiffness will depend on your weight, your experience and your targeted depth. To choose your fins, use our help: 'which model for me ?'.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE :
Your fibreglass or carbon blade can break :
- If the fin is stuck (the end of the fin is stuck, all the weight is on the blade and it cannot bend) => Do not push off with the blade on the bottom, the side of the pool or on the bottom of the water
- If you jump into the water with the blade parallel to the water.
